Impact Team 2023 gathered at my house the day before their planned 06H55 departure. They went to bed around 10 that night as they had to leave around 3am to be in time for the flight. When they woke up they found out that their flight was cancelled and that they were to fly another route 15 hours later to Johannesburg! Lianti scrambled to cancel the accommodation in Johannesburg and fortunately, they still made the flight to Victoria Falls as planned. But the challenges were not over yet. They were delayed in Johannesburg due to airplane issues but finally made it through the customs.
The EMI team had a relaxing afternoon playing Best ball golf!
We ended the night with a “Braai” all together, including mom Griet, longtime friend Jako and his sons.
Today the Impact team 2023 will be heading out for Choma and Namwala on our way to Itezhi-tezhi.
We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.
