Learning To Sew

Will You Teach Me?

2001: Dorothy Munsanda asked Griet le Roux to teach her how to use an old sewing machine that was a donation.

Griet lives 2000km away in Johannesburg, South Africa

Griet and Elsie travelled to Zambia for 10 days, training Dorothy on how to care for and operate her machine.

They taught other women to cut and sew a child’s dress by hand.
