Include a gift to Impact Zambia in your Will
A legacy gift to Impact Zambia can be directed in four ways:
- Sponsoring an Impact Zambia Trip or Participate
- Sponsoring part of or a whole structure at the Life Impact Training Centre
- Sponsoring a student or class of students at the Life Impact Training Centre
- Supporting the ongoing work of Impact Zambia
Any choice you make will change the lives of the people of Zambia; the person, materials, and opportunities you provide will help people for generations; parents want their children to surpass them, or you can facilitate the training by giving funds directed to the construction of the LITC.
You can help impact the lives of the Zambian people with minor changes to your will.
You can leave money from your estate to Impact Zambia by adding a directive to your will. The directive should indicate if it is a fixed amount or a percentage of the residual of your will. The residual is the money left after the other directives have been addressed.
The suggested wording for the directive is:
“I bequeath [the amount of $______ or __% of my residual] to Impact Zambia, a project of Teams Canada Inc 1 Union Street Elmira Ontario N3B 3J9 For the purpose of [See above]. If Impact Zambia is no longer a program, the funds shall be used by another Teams Canada program at their discretion. I direct them that the receipt of the Treasurer will be sufficient discharge of the directive by the Executor(s) for the payment of said bequest.
